🎸 Hola, Insiders! This is the Riviera Maya Rundown for Thursday June 19 through Wednesday June 25.

TRIVIA TIME

Last week we asked Which of the following archaeological sites in the Yucatán Peninsula is not located in the state of Quintana Roo? This one was a little bit tricky….

The correct answer is Ek Balam! Ek Balam is the only site on this list not located in Quintana Roo—it’s in Yucatán state, about 30 minutes north of Valladolid. The others are all in Quintana Roo: Cobá and Muyil are near Tulum in the jungle south of the Riviera Maya; El Rey is right in Cancún’s hotel zone; and San Gervasio is on the island of Cozumel. Each site offers a different slice of ancient Maya history, from coastal trade routes to jungle-covered pyramids.

Remo is up to date on all his vaccinations, parasite free, neutered and has received all his monthly preventatives. If you would like more information about Remo send an eail to [email protected].

🎼 Festival PAAX GNP: A Symphony of Music, Dance & Culture

👨‍🎤 La Castañeda Brings 35+ Years of Rock Theatrics to Playa del Carmen

🐴 Show Jumping Returns to the Riviera Maya!

Attention horse lovers! Hípico Riviera Maya in Paamul will host the 6th stage of the 2025 Quintana Roo State Show Jumping Championship on Saturday & Sunday, June 21 & 22.

This beautiful weekend event brings together around 150 riders competing across a range of jumping categories, from beginner-friendly 40 cm crossrails to thrilling 1.30 m oxers. It’s an incredible chance to witness the athleticism and grace of horses and riders from all over the region in a family-friendly, outdoor setting.
